Privacy Policy

Duo-Desk collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it sends nothing about you to us or to anyone else.
Location and weather
If you turn on the weather or your town's name, Duo-Desk asks for your location. Approximate location is enough. It is sent to Apple's WeatherKit for the forecast and to Apple Maps for the town name, at most every half hour, and never to us. Those requests are covered by Apple's privacy policy. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather.
Calendar, Reminders and Music
With your permission, Duo-Desk reads your calendars and reminders on your device to show what's next, and saves the changes you make from the desk (ticking a reminder off or adding one) back to Reminders. It shows what the Music app is playing. None of this leaves your device through Duo-Desk.
What stays on your device
- your notes;
- your focus history (when each session started and how long it ran);
- your settings.
None of this leaves your device, apart from being included in your device's own backups if you use them. If you share a note, it goes only where you send it, such as Apple Notes. Deleting the app removes everything.
Purchases
Duo-Desk Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; Duo-Desk only learns from the App Store whether Pro is active on your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.
Children
Duo-Desk collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If Duo-Desk ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
